Expect the expected

Went to Bogarts at 4pm on a decent weather afternoon - I haven’t figured out yet if weather impacts the number of patrons, in other cities it seems that there are fewer patrons when the weather is good, haven’t seen that same relationship here. Anyway, I counted ten dancers, suspect there were a few tucked away in VIP or the dressing room because there are typically more than a dozen on a mid week afternoon. There were no dancers above a 7 in my book, which is not unusual in my experience for this place. There were a few sloppy ones with large bellies and hangers. The regular stage reviews where all dancers that aren’t in vip or dancing in the next rotation is helpful to get a quick feel for how far down the food chain you need to go if you are going to make a VIP visit with one of the ladies. There have been visits where the review convinces me to move on and my stay is exactly as long as it takes me to quickly down my $6.75 beer.

This trip I spent a good bit of time debating whether I could find a way to have some fun quickly and get out without dragging an ashtray back to my home and having some explaining to do. My alternative to this issue is Cricket where smoking is confined to a separate room, but the last Cricket visit was uninspiring. I was in the mood for something that would meet my expectations, which for a Bogies visit are low as it relates to looks but high as it relates to availability of services at prices that don’t empty the wallet.

To the specifics, after the $5 toll, sit at one of the high top table between the bar and the stage. I like this spot because there is a little more room between you and the next patron and that helps me dodge the direct smoke that you can’t avoid if you sit next to a smoker (or between two) at the bar or rail. As noted, $6.75 beer, $9 or $10 all in. There’s a reasonably attractive AA dancer who scopes me out quickly and she actually remembers meeting me before, some 9 months earlier. She sits down on the stool next to me and makes introductions and moves to the bogarts handshake immediately. I wish i could remember her name. She’s small boobs, nice booty who works 3 days a week to support her 4 children. She makes good small talk and I’m enjoying her touchiness. She asks if I would buy her a drink and I agree. To my surprise, she’s able to get the $5 drink special, she adds a glass of tap water which costs a $1 and I get the buy the girl a drink piece out of the way for $6 plus tip. She’s aggressive in pushing VIP and I have decided that I’m not doing much better if I continue to shop. She hasn’t been upstairs yet today and that probably helps strike the $100 all in deal. We head up, $10 for the curtained area, to the booth that is at the end to,the right of the VIP toll collector. I mention that because it seems to be the one booth that is totally out of sight of patrons and the curtains are not thick or all that private, often a bit of an opening and that’s not ideal for my situation. She spends time on the warm up, gets to work and I am ready to leave faster than I can remember. That’s ok since I was in the place to get the expected and Bogarts delivered without much lingering odor. Visit lasted about 45 minutes and cost less than $135 all in.
