Log Cabin Strip Club: If you've never, you should at least once....
I have to totally agree with the reviews that have come before regarding the location, ambiance, etc. I went in knowing what to expect and personally, had a great time. I travel frequently, and often seek out hole in the wall bars out in the sticks to be able to chat with some locals, etc. DP has that exact vibe, with some bikini women wandering around. I chatted with a group of bikers who were there celebrating a birthday, I think. It is most definitely a locals, almost yokels crowd but that can be the fun. There was a huge ring, big enough for the gals to sit in, suspended in the middle of the bar area instead of a pole, and the bartender had the reflexes of a puma as she kept ducking and dodging this making her way around to serve. She had a delightful smile and added to the overall mellow vibe.
Another group was hanging in the back doorway, still a bit too chilly to sit outside, but I'd recommend hanging out out here with a fireplace, etc. and will try that next time. This is the furthest, literally, from an Urban club. Cabella's with chicks ( still laughing at that) does sum it up. Now, as to the dancers, there were 3. One larger, Polish? gal, one older Brazillian, and one short, spark plug of a blond( I think ? ) who gave the vibe that she'd been there since it was built, and happy about that. She told great stories, and even said she had some toys in her bag, and if I was up for it, she could use a little R&R in the dance room. Well, this was a first for me, plus I'd planned on at least one dance at some point to have the experience of a lapdance in front of a full window. That part was fun. Well, my dancer stripped down the minute the curtain was clipped and gave instructions on what she liked best, and she had a great time. Rated me a 9 for two way contact lol. Two more dances focused more on me once she caught her breath, and we were laughing the whole time.
Back to the bar, another round for the two of us, and she keeps telling stories about what she's seen there, and who's who in the room ( there was one dude who, were he not dead, I would have paid a bet he was Jerry Garcia- the later years edition). Total stay was maybe 2 hours, which is almost the round trip drive time, but worth it for the uniqueness, and the laughts. If Hitching Post or Exit 11 or Caberet are your favorites, this might not be for you. If you laugh at the antics at RAB, and have at least 3 flannel shirts in your closet - put this on your list.
