Stereotypical Strip Club

I've been to Rivera's a few time late on Friday or Saturday nights. I usually arrive after 11pm and stay an hour or two depending on the vibe. On to the pertinent details.

GETTING IN: The club has a $20 cover charge and strict Id policy (a buddy went once with an expired license and got turned away.) After you empty your pockets, walk through a metal detector and get patted down they have a mandatory coat, bag and hat check for $3. Bags and hats HAVE to be checked but I'm not sure about coats as I haven't been during cold weather.

LAYOUT: The main room is dominated by a large stage recessed from bar. The room is ringed by private seating areas for groups, usually bachelor parties. There is also a group of chairs on one side where the dances tend to congregate. The private lap dance room is behind that chair area. Lap dances in that room are $30 a pop. The bar has chairs around it but unless you're there early don't expect to get a seat. There is a smaller room to the right of the main room. There is a smaller bar in that room with couches for open lap dances. Those dances are $20.
