Bailed Out

Gold Club always seems on the brink of a disastrous visit. It's usually slow on weekdays and the stage shows are bad. Many girls go through the motions and stay in their bikinis. Some stay with regulars or do private dances to avoid the stage altogether. There's not too much hustle, but there's the occasional annoying dancer that sits with you uninvited. The cover is $8 and domestic beer is $6. The club also reeks of smoke since apparently there's no ordinance against that in Memphis. In my experience there's always been one girl that saves the day. The private dances range from $30 in the open to $150 semi-private to $300 blackout. The dances are hands on and I haven't had any air dances here. Maybe it's luck, but this is a worthwhile stop to find the one gem working each night.
