Word is they’re temporarily closed after a flood

Stopped by, or rather tried to, last Friday. Club was dark, no cars in the lot. Headed over to Vixens instead. Heard from dancers there that there was a big flood at Elysium and they are closed to remodel after the damage. Estimated timetable on reopening ranged from a few weeks to a few months, so who knows.

To be honest the place has been dying for a while. It had become less of a strip club and more of a place for people to hang out after 3am. Place basically didn’t even open until after midnight. Only a handfuls of dancers, most of which just wanted to hang out with their friends.

The place also started to attract some really bad people. Like people with guns who aren’t afraid to shoot them bad. I think there were already 2 or 3 shootings in the parking lot in 2019. I know that Johnny the manager (formerly of Foxy Lady) actually increased the height of the fence around the smoking area since people were throwing guns over the fence to smuggle them into the club.
