A Pretty Relaxed Place

Gold Club is the strip club I've visited the most. It has a very chill vibe, it's not too big (half of it burned down awhile back) but it feels like a lounge, and it has easily the most beautiful location of any club...a former steakhouse that looks like a church, secluded away on a woody off-road between car dealerships, it feels like you've found some secret club, not a repurposed warehouse like most places. I generally find it easy to relax, there's a few booths, a lot of TVs, and while there's a lot of security, they don't intrude or intimidate the customers, everything feels welcoming.

Cover is $5 most nights, $7 on Friday/Saturday, or for big events. The drinks I get are $9 but they can run a little higher ($13-15). VIP dances are $40 each (not $30) per song, topless, a lot of touching is allowed but the room isn't super private. I find most the girls are really good dancers and a lot of fun but occasionally I've been back with a girl who's awkward and end up just waiting for it to be over...but that's definitely the exception.

The dancers are mostly hot and young, as with most places there's more girls and better looking girls during busy times but on slow nights girls are more relaxed and easier to talk to. A LOT of emphasis at Gold Club is on sitting and talking at the bar, the seats, or the booths. I often see girls chilling with the same guy or group for an hour. I like this environment, but it can be weird when you first come in if there's little or no action onstage, or you might feel ignored for a long time if you're not part of a conversation, and you can tell some girls are mystified/pissed off when they spend all night talking and aren't making more money or there's very little tipping on stage (there's two stages and they're both pitted so you have to either sit in the lowered area by the stage or by the railing above to interact with girls when they're dancing) .
