Successful recon/will be back

I’m usually a Penn’s Port or Purple Orchid guy, but family obligations had me near City Line Ave at Haverford late on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Seemed like a perfect time for that long overdue recon of Outer Space/La Pearl.

Some people say the neighborhood is “the hood”. While it’s not going to have any entrants in Better Homes and Gardens this or next decade, there are plenty of much sketchier areas in Philly. Exterior security was posted and my car was undisturbed while I was there.

$10 cover outside and a thorough patdiwn inside and my recon began.

$5 Jack&Coke was poured quite strong. After ordering, I saw that the beer selection in the cooler has much more extensive than I had anticipated. Guinness in West Philly.... who’d of thought.
