fun dances, mixed bags of ladies

I was visiting a friend in Dallas and we hit several clubs. I gotta say, I’m very impressed with the Dallas scene. I’ll combine 2 visits into 1 review.

My friend G had never heard of this place, but was willing to go after I showed him some reviews. We paid the $9 cover each on Saturday afternoon, and got a table. Several of the girls do a hard sell. English is generally poor. If you tell them no, expect to hear, “Just one dance!” The songs are almost all Spanish hip hop, but, the songs are notably long.

G was first to agree to a dance. They don’t dance at the tables at all, you go upstairs. $20/song is the nominal charge, but expect the rounding to be in their favor. You pretty much can’t time it to arrive at the start of the next song. When he got back, he said she claimed she tried to estimate it from mid song to mid song, and he thought it was 4 (so did I), but she said 5.

I saw one particular girl when I went to the bathroom, and I was intent on getting her- a petite natural girl. The norm here is either thick girls, or if they are petite, they have implants. I was really getting the hustle while G was gone. I’m not the type to be easily intimidated, but it really got weird with one. She sat on the arm of my chair and wouldn’t leave. She would ask for 1 dance, they when I said no, would point with her thumb to the door, and say “Vamos.” Then just stare, and then ask again for a dance. Just fucking weird. G came back and I said, hey meet Vamos.

The one I was waiting for wasn’t anywhere in sight, I was getting curious about the upstairs, and Vamos had a nice body and implants were at least decent. So I actually agreed at that point to just one dance. We went up and the DJ called that she’s be next up on stage. I got some piece of a song (but still a decent amount of time since they are long) in a chair. It was a good dance. When I got back downstairs, she was already on stage- they have a shorter route to get to the stage.
