Hidden Gem

Let me start by saying I have been going to strip clubs for more than 30 years, and no one is more disappointed in the lack of entertainment in the business, nowadays, than me. I have literally been in at least 10 different clubs in the last week alone, and not in one did a girl use the pole on stage for anything more than to steady herself, or change direction. That is, until last night.

Obsessions may be one of the closest clubs to me, yet I haven't been here since it was known as the Breeze Inn. Back then the club was horrible. No stage, just girls walking around a room with tables and chairs against the wall where those wanting to tip sat. The regulars sat at the bar, and paid no attention to the dancers.

Last night I wanted to see some new girls, but not travel too far, so I decided to give Obsessions a try. The club may be the best run in the state, this coming from a former manager who turned a dive, biker go go bar into one of the busiest in the state before retiring (it has since gone back to a dive bar that is barely surviving.) To say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement.

The club now has a stage in the middle of the bar. A stage which features two poles that are not only two stories high but used well by every girl that came on stage.

I have to admit my first contact with the dancers didn't go well. When I got to a spot at the bar there were two thin black girls on stage that I would probably rate as 6 or 7's, still better than what I was expecting. They danced to two songs with LOTS of pole work, and came down to take tips. They split up, going opposite directions. The first one to come up to me gave me the dreaded bra strap tip. You know the one where you don't see anything, and get no contact. Well, hopefully, the others aren't like that I thought. When the other girl got to me, and did the same thing I thought my time here was going to be limited.
