Interesting crowd
The Aragon Bar has two parts to the building. The front bar area is just a bar. Bottled beer was $4. There were pool tables, dart boards and a hockey game on TV. The back part also has a bar and is where the strip club part is. You can pass back and forth easily between the two sections.
Even though I got there on a Friday night, I paid no cover. In the club area, there is a small stage with two poles attached to the far wall. Strippers here seemed to do four song sets, but I couldn’t tell for sure. They picked their own songs from a jukebox and were pretty interactive with the crowd. By Minnesota standards, the stage dances were pretty up close with plenty of Stevie’s. But panties stayed on.
The crowd was interesting. Half the patrons were women who weren’t dancing. It’s was a funny night too in that it appeared that Paul Simon, Elton John and Mohatma Ghandi all have younger, poorer brothers who were drunk and at the club the night I stopped in.
