Not Anymore

Stopped in very late afternoon and early evening to see dayshift before they left and get a spot for the big dance contest that evening. Man, has dayshift gone downhill. Mostly young, white, wrist banded, new to the industry, thin dancers or thick, white, moms. Nothing really in between. No sensual head turners that know how to make your time there end with a "smile". There was still the Cubans who are just irritating and the always good, but always busy, extremely long haired brunette. I sampled several of the new young thangs and they are just not down for "fun". They were all very mechanical and had no passion for ld's. We were in the VIP since I have a membership, but still only did the standard $20 ld's. The lights were on for some reason, but the corner booths still provided plenty of privacy. I just decided to save for night shift, but longed for the old diversity of the fun dayshift.

Went to the back bar to order a steak and wait for the contest. As I was almost finished with dinner, I got up to get some napkins and some dumbass lunk head that had been sitting to my right took my seat. I told him I was still sitting there and still had I plate there. He then gripped my plate and moved it to the left and said he and his friend who had been sitting on my left wanted to sit next to each other. I was furious now that not only had he touched my plate, but since it was early the club had plenty of unoccupied tables and bar stools. Granted, the empty bar stools were closer to the back wall, but the other bar had plenty of room and the better sight lines for a view of the main stage. I just said fuck it since the night had been a waste and headed out. I got stopped toward the front door by a familiar floor person who asked me why I was leaving so soon. I told him of the incident and he apologized and said since no managers witnessed what happened he could not make them move or really do anything. Buck's had been known for their customer service, but not anymore. I'll remember that when they put the full court press on for me to renew my membership.
