Restrained but pleasant visit

I was in West Palm Beach recently and had a free Saturday evening and decided to make a stop at Rachel’s. I had been to Rachel’s in Orlando and assumed this is a sister club and would have similarly gorgeous women. I still don’t know for sure if it’s a sister club, but I was definitely right about the women. I also figured that like the Orlando club you could spend a lot of money for not much return on your investment. So I vowed to show financial restraint and basically just take in the scenery.

I arrived at about 10 pm to a very full if not quite packed house. I had just been to another outdoor event and was dressed in shorts and golf shirt and was fully prepared to be asked to go away and come back when cleaned up and properly dressed. But, the lovely door girl happily took my cover ($15 as I recall) and let me in. What I saw of the club was a single very large room with a single large stage jutting into the room from the wall on my right and a bar on the far side of the room. Most of the rest of the room was filled with tables and chairs, most of which were occupied. I saw a couple empty seats at the bar and took one as my own. Lots of beautiful women were circulating the room but not many in the bar area. As restraint was the order of the day for me that suited me just fine. I ordered a Coke for about $5-6 and settled in.

I was approached several times by women, including an interesting pair claiming to be from Australia. Conversations were ok, but in every case turned to potential lap dances, which I declined. A recent posting on this club claimed that highly aggressive dances with easy extras were available. Again, based primarily on my experiences in Orlando, that was not my expectation here in WPB. And, the vibe I got in conversations with the dancers was that such things would NOT be happening between me and them.
