I'll get right to the point. Keep walking through the club until you're almost at the $25 area in the back, but take a seat in the general $10 area. Why?

1. You can observe a dancer's style in the (not-so-) private area with another customer and get a baseline of what to expect. If you're interested, you can let her know as she exits the area, before she disappears into wherever.

2. Dancers will tell you there's much fun to be had in the private area, but you can easily reply that the two of you are already sitting right next to that area, so why move. The dancer will then have to decide whether to go back into the main room on another fishing expedition, or stay with someone who is at least ready to do $10 dances.
