As advertised; Safe, clean fun..
Ok, I finally gave Geisha a try during my most recent trip to Madison. Often, I'm a bit hesitant to try these types of places - particularly when traveling - mainly due to concerns about safety or is it going to be a set-up, is the place going to be raided, is this a set-up and I'm going to be robbed or otherwise put in some sort of awkward or embarrassing situation etc., and so forth.
Maybe it was the excessive drinking in the earlier evening beforehand (more about that in a moment) - but I decided to go for it this time around, after hitting a couple of the other strip clubs in the area. Their electric illuminated sign still said "Open" and they were close by to another strip club, so I figured WTF/YOLO, and went for it.
Parking is right there, just pull up and park only about 10-20 feet away from the front door. The parking area is lit "just right". Bright enough that you feel safe, but not so bright that you feel like you're breaking out of a prison (or escaping from former East Germany) and have searchlights blasting on you. You walk to the front door and wait to be buzzed in, as others have described. I wasn't sure if maybe I was arriving too close to quitting/closing time (since I was pushing their close-up time), but a few seconds later I heard a buzz and entered.
