Fun time

This review will not fit the mold of most reviews, but the Clermont Lounge is not like most strip clubs. Yes, it has nude or almost nude dancing, but the “HOT” girls will not be found here. But laughter, good music, cold beer and a fun time will be found if one knows what to expect.

An old college friend of mine was in Atlanta for business and we met for dinner and spent time talking about the “good ole days”. She has always enjoyed having a few drinks and dancing and asked about if there was a good place to go near her downtown hotel. I gave her a couple of options and since it was Wednesday, I included the Clermont Lounge. When asked further about it I told her it was more of a burlesque show / club than a strip club. On Wednesday the music is constant and many of the customers dance in the area at the front of the club to the side of the bar. She was intrigued so we took Uber over to the club.

We got there about 11:00 PM and paid our $5 entry fee and she was taking in the surroundings. She was particularly impressed with the costumes of some of the dancers and really enjoyed not only the music, but interaction with the dancers and the other customers. I did buy her one dance with an African American woman who has some of the biggest boobs I have ever seen. Once again, she was impressed.
