Early and Quiet Saturday Night
Arrived at 8:30 pm and enjoyed a Lucille IPA next door at the Dog Pound for $6 before taking myself in to see the talent next door.
I was hoping my beer would count for my required “drink” inside Kittens instead of a $6 soda but no luck. Paid my $10 cover + another $6 bones and found a seat near the main stage. Keep in mind the chairs in the middle of this club are uncomfortable- think metal leg kitchen chair circa 1965, 2 per small round table. Furthermore the action here is in the back not at the stage so the tables are not adjacent to either of the 2 stages, merely facing them.
Although I only had about an hour for my visit, based upon past experiences I figured there would be a good chance someone to my taste would arrive. There were approximately 10 girls working and I saw all of them come thru to do their 2 songs on stage before going back to work the crowd for dances.
