This visit to Platinum Dolls in Lexington, Kentucky was on Tuesday April 16, 2019 from about 9 to 10:30 pm. The club is on the east side of New Circle a bit south of US 60 in a commercial area and has an ample well paved and lighted parking lot. The building looks fairly new. There was no pat down, etc but there was a guy at the door looking over the customers entering. Cover was $7 and change for my $20 was given in $1’s. The entrance was at one end of a long side of a sort of fan-shaped building. Upon entering the rest rooms are to your left, and a little farther along the bar is to the left along the narrow end of the building. There are two stages, one at the other end of the room opposite the bar was the most used and another stage near the entrance. Both of these were fairly small, one pole affairs with chairs along the tip rail. There were a large number of tables between the bar and the main stage. There was a raised area behind the main stage that appeared to be some kind of VIP seating area that had its own small bar attached to it. No one was sitting there while I was there. Their were half a dozen TV’s showing sports scattered high up on the walls. Like many Lexington clubs smoking is allowed, not too bad although probably mostly because there weren’t that many customers. There was a display of cigars for sale near the entrance. Several waitresses efficiently circulated, I had a generic bottled water for $4. The overall decor was clean and in the usual fancy strip club style with the usual colored and rotating lights etc Initially there were about 10 to 15 customers, which increased a bit as the evening went on. The crowd this night was mostly middle age and older guys. I saw one couple.

Initially there were about 5 dancers, increasing to about a dozen later on. All were white, mostly mid to late 20’s probably and mostly fit with only a few tats. One was a little heavy and another one or two rather thin. They did two song sets usually getting nude in the second song. Initially there were sometimes breaks with no one dancing on the stage. Later on as more dancers came in the stage dancing became continuous and after 10 pm they even started dancing on the second stage near the entrance, although it wasn’t clear this was really justified by the size of the crowd. Tips at the stage got reasonable attention from the dancer. There was some pole work although the poles are not very high. A small, and probably A cup, dancer named Star convinced me to go back for a lap dance. Rates quoted were $100 for 5 songs in a small cubicle or $150 for 15 minutes in a fancier room. Longer times presumably also available but I didn’t get prices. She said the 5 songs was really only about 10 minutes. I went for the 15 minutes room, the $150 being paid in advance to a cashier. The dancer expected a tip on top of this. Both the cashier and dancer timed the 15 minutes using their cell phones. The ordinary dance cubicles are behind the bar area, and the fancier rooms are raised up along one of the long sides of the club. They have nice couches and tables and even a TV on the opposite wall, which was showing horse racing, this is Lexington after all. There was no curtain or door but nobody bothered us until the cashier came to announce them was up. The dancer went nude for the dance, she implied that not all dancers there did this. The dance was decent grind, two way contact with some stick shifting and mouth action over the pants. Some kissing of the nipples was allowed. Also she did some pecks on the cheeks and even a couple on the lips. Good enough that I added a moderate tip.

On previous trips to Lexington I have been at Cowboys (Sep 2017) and at Diva’s (Apr 2018). Compared to these Platinum Dolls is similar in physical plant and women to Cowboys and better than Diva’s, while Diva’s has more mileage than the other two. Stage dancing at Platinum Plus was better than Cowboys since most got nude while at Cowboys only a few did. In summary Platinum Dolls is a nicely appointed club with good looking dancers. I spent about $200. Mileage is sort of on the boundary between high and very high. Didn’t seem to be any possibility of extras. It is quite expensive however, at $10 per minute (plus tips) for lap dances so does not rank very high for value.
