I don't understand how this place is getting high ratings. I cannot agree

I've been here about 3 times in the last 18 months. Each time I arrived about 11:30pm -- 12:30am and stayed 45-90 minutes. Each time the place was dead, dead.

The beer prices were finebut the club has got a run down look to it and it smells of smoke (as others have mentioned.) I hate that but obviously smokers see that as an advantage.

I have never seen an attractive or an enthusiastic dancer here. 80% of the time, the stage has been empty. Maybe this place is lively earlier in the evening (10-11pm?) but I really doubt it. Around midnight is usually prime time at SCs especially on Friday's and Saturdays. Each time I've had a beer or two and left without anything positive to see or report. Maybe the other reviews are mostly "house reviews." Those other ratings are so high that the ratings indicate this is the best SC in the area; my impression is totally the other way. I think every other visit to a club in the area (maybe 15 visits in total) has been better than any of these 3 visits (yeah, I'm saying I'd rate my spread out visits as 16, 17 & 18 our of 18.
