Wouldn't give a quarter for French Quarter

I've been coming to French Quarter for years, though I never reviewed it because I didn't want to give too much exposure to a great thing. As any experienced monger who visited this place in the last few years will attest, good times were to be found here if you play your cards right. Certainly YMMV from girl to girl, but at the very least a full nude dance and some nice touching was the minimum order of the night, and usually a lot more was open for discussion. That seems to have all changed recently. I don't know if the place was busted, or the management has decided to clean up its act given all the recent heat on the Little Rock venues, but this was the weakest club experience I've ever had.

I hadn't been in for about six months, so the difference in tone was dramatic. First hint the place had gone downhill was the fact that I was literally the only customer there. Second hint, not a single girl from last year was still working there. Third hint, none of the new girls seemed particularly eager to make conversation or approach me for a ladies drink or private dance. For better or worse, the old lot used to hound you about it, particularly on slow nights.

At any rate, I picked Destiny for a VIP package (30 minutes in a private room for a ben) because she was my kind of girl, skinny with nice full naturals. She seemed nice enough out on the main floor, but as the dance proceeded she turned away from me and wiggled apathetically without removing a single article of clothing. I asked her what the deal was? Was she going to actually strip, ya know, strip club? She said the bosses were no longer allowing full nude dances, and any girl that did would be immediately fired. She then reluctantly took off her top and gyrated weakly a bit more, allowing me to touch her ass a little, but generally avoiding any real contact. Next thing I know a little bulldog pokes its head under the curtain and sniffs at us. Ella said it was the owner's dog, so she picks it up and takes off with it and disappears for about ten minutes. When she comes back, she's got a "friend" with her, who sits in on the dance uninvited. I felt like I was being chaperoned as this other girl taps away on her phone for the rest of the session. Totally killed the vibe or any chance I had to get more cozy with Ella. I've had plenty of dances at plenty of clubs that were just nice interactions, and didn't necessarily turn into bacchanals; that's not really the issue. However, if I pay for a PRIVATE dance, I expect it to remain private. Just for the sake of seeing if this was simply a one off bad experience or a trend, I booked another dancer after to see if things might go more smoothly. I won't bother to write a full review on that one, but sufficed to say, it was even worse. Not only did I get another chaperone, but the girl refused to take off any clothes at all.
