Hopefully some different points from a new perspective

I recently visited Hong Kong on Saturday evening after much hype about its legendary status. Instead of going over the same logistical stuff everyone else has I'll just walk through my unique thoughts from my experience.

Coming from Southern California I am pretty familiar with San Diego so I chose to park my car at a trolley station lot a couple stops up from the San Ysidro end point. I know others have said they've comfortably parked their car right at the border, but for whatever reason I just preferred leave my car somewhere that was a little less hectic, free to park at and still easy to get to.

I took the trolley to the border, crossed on foot without any hassle and grabbed a cab just on the other side. I Crossed around 6ish with the plan of making my way back sometime between 11 – 12p. The driver took me straight to HK for $5, which I made sure to specify up front.
