Still not the Desiree of old

I decided to take another look as I had been in about 6 months ago. If you've been in Desirees anytime in the last 25 years you know what it looks like, it hasn't changed a bit other than being a little more run down but not horrible. The are actually two bars but I bet the back bar hasn't been used in years as they only used it on busy nights. There are also a couple pool tables and ample seating some in semi secluded spots. A beer was a modest $4, friendly guy bartender. Only 1 girl working on this thursday night, probably an Akron "6". Only 2 other patrons in the whole joint and both appeared to just be there to drink and watch the basketball game that was on the handful of big screen tvs. I did get 2 dances from the one girl, decent grind, let hands roam a little, she was your typical 35+ year old akron area dancer (sorry I cannot recall her name), friendly enough but also couldnt wait to look at her phone. Gave $5/song which she seemed good with, never offered any sort of vip. I asked the bartender if any more girls were expected that night and he told me "probably not" so I finnished up my Bud and took off. I'm kind of curious how this place stays open with such little going on, it definitely not the Desiree of 20 years age!
