After a Very Long Time...

Stopped in here on Monday afternoon, 4/1/19, after at least a 10 year hiatus from this place, and no, this is not an April Fools write-up...

Used to stop here regularly when work assignments took me to NJ for the day, it was a nice haven to hit on the way home for a few beverages. Well, had to trek to Trenton to pick up an item I won in an online auction, so I figured I would stop in for old time's sake. Arriving around 1:30 pm, thought I was in a time warp..nothing has changed except the covering color of the pool tables (now beige vs. red as I remember), and a few TV upgrades (maybe)! Obviously a new barkeep as far as I am concerned, and none of the entertainers looked familiar (why would they!). Still have a freebie lunch buffet, sandwiches, and a few hot items, same as 10+ years ago, still the same decor, still the same two stages behind the bar where the entertainer enters down a spiral stairs to the first stage, does a song, then finishes topless on the second stage. Decent entertainment on this Monday afternoon, with 5 or possibly 6 girls working the 2 song sets, separated by a song with no one on stage as the one finishing up made her rounds for tips inside the bar, then continued to circulate outside the bar looking for takers for private dances and additional tips. All were friendly, same as I remembered, even though it is a different time. Was approached by one lovely very endowed gal who insisted on rubbing those gems against my shoulder until they popped out from their constraint, a lovely view indeed. As we chatted I told her I had not been there for at least 10 years, and she responded that I was in luck, as private dance prices were still $20 a song. I passed at the moment, but did tip her for the view, told her to check me in a bit. She snagged another gent and did not make it back before I had to depart to beat the rush hour traffic on the PA TP.

Barkeep attention was minimal at times, as I had to wait what I consider an excessive amount of time twice to get my drink refreshed, seems she liked to sit on the outside of the bar shooting the shit with some other custie, and strangely enough, that was a problem on previous long ago visits, guess some things never do improve, management please take note.
