Fantasy is anything but a fantasy these days

Cleverly, club Fantasy has the perfect location, in a sense. When traffic gets backed up on I-80/94 near the Illinois/Indiana border, as it does every afternoon from 4:00 to 7:00, the temptation to stop in for a "pop" is always present. In spite of having read about the management changes to Fantasy, I thought I would stop in and check it out for myself.

When I arrived, I was asked to present my ID at the turnstyle. Without electronically scanning my ID, the doorman introduced himself as "Big Hoss". What was his mother thinking naming him that?? He quickly let me through, emphasizing that no cover charge was assessed due to the hour but pointing out that tips in the large tip charge were welcome. Telling him I would catch him on the way out, I slid in.

Not much has changed physically as far as I could remember. It seemed a few more holiday lights were strung about. There was more advertising about food and drinks with pictures on screens of ridiculously good looking women -- none of whom appeared to be working this particular afternoon.
