In the mid 1990s Expose’ rivaled Sugars as the best strip clubs in town, and for me one of the best strip clubs anywhere.
Expose’ was very near a small university and was smack dab in the ‘ weird’ part of Austin. Like Sugars it had practically every dancer ranked at a 9 or 10.
But Expose’ was a bit different. Perhaps due to its proximity to a University, as well as University if Texas a bit down the road, the girls were highly educated and intelligent.
But at same time the girls were very sociable. In fact the club had a nice friendly dive bar feel, but with hot women.
Expose was across town for me so it was always a rare visit. But when I did visit it felt more comfortable than the ones I did visit. I’ll say it again, rap and hip-hop were the worse things to ever happen to strip club.
Like other strip clubs Expose’s downturn coincided with domanance of rap and hip-hop. But before that time, man this Place was special.
