First time at Mpire. Pricey, low-impact place to chill in Dupont Circle

So, this was the first time I had gone to Mpire, I have always stuck to the PG County clubs but I was around the corner drinking at ESL and on my way back to my car, I caught the black door of Mpire out of the corner of my eye, and one of their girls was outside smoking a cigarette, and she just looked so damn good I said to myself, fuck it! To hell with it! I knew the score going in, there wasn't going to be any contact this night unless I dropped 500+ and I wasn't prepared to do that, so I just went in to check out the scene and keep the party going. Paid the cover, got a nice little pat-down, and entered this dimly-lit club. I gotta say, this is what a strip club should be like. Not too bright, not too dim, nice fixings and furnishings, hot girls, poles on either side of the bar, just a great place to chill with a cocktail and soak up the scene. I had a nice little mixed drink that I believe was 14+tax and tip, so I just dropped a 20 for the bartender and told her to keep it. A few of the girls came by and made small talk, but I'm a younger guy and not the type that they usually target, I imagine. This place is very popular with high-end, older businessmen in suits. I saw a lot of them. Got an offer to go to VIP but like I said, this was simply a research mission, I wasn't going to get suckered into dropping a thousand for a little rub. This place really puts the PG clubs to shame in terms of atmosphere. The girls were also very hot. More white girls than anything else but I did see one exotic Asian/Latina mix. You don't go here for mileage and you don't go here for value. If you're in the neighborhood though, and you like strip clubs and hot girls, stop by. You won't regret it.
