I made my second trip to Fantasia, this time on a Saturday night. I arrived around 11 p.m., paid my cover, and bought my drink. The club was very crowded and seemed to be about one-half hispanic. There were also a few couples in the club, including one very attractive young lady in her early twenties who, at the urging of her companion, sat along the stage and tipped several dancers.

The VIPs are still $40 for two songs and $80 for five. Over the course of my two visits, I have purchased VIPs from five different dancers and mileage varied significantly among all five. One offered extras and quoted prices: $60 for this, $200 for that. Another dropped her thong as soon as the door was locked and, noting my suprise -- I was prepared to neogtiate full nudity for extra cash -- she told me, "this is a VIP, sweetie. Most of the girls go nude." She was the only one to do that with me, and told me she'd only been there for three weeks, so maybe her info was bad. The quality of the dancers is all over the place here, which makes sense, given its location in the heart of the Bible Belt. Still, you can have a good time with enough money and the right girl and the bartender and wait staff are attentive.
