New Lighting Update
Stopped here for an afternoon visit this past Monday, my second visit since my last review. Figured I would provide an update to the new lighting I described in my 2/7/19 review, at which time I totally disliked it due to the rotating spot lights that blinded you. Well, apparently they have stopped using those 4 corner lights in the room rotating fashion, at least the last two visits when I was there. Dancers I spoke with last visit didn't like them either in the beginning as it blinded them while on stage. Now it seems that each corner one is focused on a stationary point on the stage with a soft rotating blue colored light. The other lights above the stage continue to fade from red to pink to blue continuously, and some of the intermixed colors certainly do not enhance the dancer's appearance, but rather distract from it, enhancing every flaw that exists on their bodies, but at least it is improved from early February.
Dancers today were new to me with the exception of one AA gal that I had seen before, and she was the only one to come and thank me for my on stage tip after she was finished with her 2 song set. The others retreated to the dressing room, and if they did emerge they returned to the assumed "regular" they were previously sitting with. Very attentive barkeep this day, but she had to leave to attend to an errand. While she was gone the gent who usually monitors the private dance room attempted to tend bar, but apparently did not know how to use the POS system, so he kept track of everyone's drinks on his phone. When said barkeep returned, she then entered everyone's data into the system as he read it from his phone, and then collected the cash! It was hilarious!
All in all, a decent time today, but lack of dancer interaction lowered my rating a bit. I guess a typical Monday.
