It just kinda is

Bristol is the kind of place I think you only seek out if you have a reason. To be totally honest, if you're of the mind to procure adult services in Madison and you have a little money, you may want to look up The Geisha House, which is a different kind of experience but is pretty direct to the point and usually has at least one or two viable options. However, Bristol serves its purpose if you want to try out something different, maybe want something a little cheaper, and don't want the much more sanitized experience of Silk Madison.

Bristol is at the corner of two country roads away from even the city (more like town) of Sun Prairie. You'll want to use your GPS to get here. The inside is nothing much to write home about. After paying a nominal cover and going through a metal detector, you're in a place that has two small stages, is lit mostly by LED string lights and doesn't feel all that different from any other Wisconsin tavern, save the naked women.

The clientele is kind of a mixed bag. There are a number of farmer types here, but also some Madison bros. There's also a healthy number of older men and I usually see a number of African-Americans there as well. Don't go here wearing a suit; you won't fit in. The best-dressed guys at the bar are probably wearing a dress shirt and a Wisconsin Badgers half-zip. The dancer population fits the clientele. You're probably not going to find any stunningly good-looking women here, but there are some girls that have a kind of farmer's daughter cuteness to them, some that look like they're from the ghetto/trailer park and some that probably shouldn't be dancing. The cute ones are my go-to. There's usually one or two there. Unfortunately, I'd say the bulk of the population falls into the trailer park category. A lot of tattoos here, plus, while I don't smoke, it seems like many of the folks who frequent this place do. There's a smoking room clearly labeled that's somewhat open to the outside near the parking lot. Walk by it and, well, let's just say it doesn't always smell like it's exclusively tobacco being smoked in there, not to mention that I will see dancers go out there with customers, which makes me think there might be some trading going on out there.
