More dancers in the afternoon this trip

I don't get to Chicas Locas often because I don't get to Dallas all that much, and when I do, there are other options that appeal to me. But I was in the neighborhood and the parking lot was decently full for a Sunday afternoon, so I decided to drop in for a while this weekend.

I'm not sure why, but the club had the lights turned up downstairs when I arrived. I like to sit in the shadows and not under a spotlight. This is new in my experience. Sat down, ordered a drink from a friendly waitress, and found a Cubana in my lap before my drink arrived. She was friendly and tried about as much English on me as I tried Spanish on her. Between the two, we found a friendship.

After I got my drink and we hung out for a bit, she asked me if I wanted some dances. Of course I did. I didn't have to ask her to take me upstairs, that was her plan all along. The balcony area upstairs looks down on the main stage and two satellite stages from three directions. Two sides were occupied, so we chose the vacant side.
