It's still open, sort-of
So I was in SF for the weekend and had some time off work so stopped by O'Farrell. It was a nice day out, so I walked from Union Square. Although the blocks immediately near the building aren't the safest, as long as you walk fast and keep to yourself, I wouldn't worry about the area.
After paying the admission and buying a bottle of water, I stepped into what was mostly an empty club. There were only seven or so entertainers that were supposed to be there, but two were crossed off the list. There were 3 or so other patrons in the theater. Given the low number of entertainers, the dance stage in the main room was on and off during the 2 hours I spent there. Sitting in one of the chairs by the stage and tipping the dancers is always a good deal. Most dancers grab your hands and make sure you get plenty for your tip. Of the 5 dancers at the club that day, I found 3 attractive. The other 2 would probably fit most people's type, but were a bit older than what I normally expect in a club (mid to late 30s). And unlike in previous visits, there was not 1 true knockout, unfortunately.
Each of the 5 dancers stopped by to try and talk me into doing lap dances or going to one of the private cabanas. Nude lap dances are $60 and off in a small private (but group) room near to where you enter the club. Although dark, seemed clean. The cabanas have curtains to make them private and are $100 for 10 minutes plus whatever the dancers charge. I was tempted by the cutest dancer there that day - Remy - but given how quick 10 minutes is, I opted for two nude lap dances. While not bad, in retrospect, the room may have been a better deal.
