I went to Scarlett’s Cabaret on a Saturday night at 23:30 on the weekend before Mardi Gras. There was a $10 cover to get in, but the cover was waived by the door girl for me. I had not been inside this club since February 2013, back when it was still the Hollywood Show Club. Let me say that not much has changed since then. The club is still blacklighted with the same three stage layout. Every table was occupied on a Saturday night, so I ended up spending most of my time by the bar standing. Sincweisers were $6.50 and the bar staff were efficient.

Dancers start their rotation on the main stage against the back wall on the left side of the club, then move to the island runway stage on the right side of the club. The runway stage has two dance positions: one on each end. Compared to five years ago, the club has way more African-American dancers. I’d say that 40% of the entertainers were black and the other 60% were white or Hispanic. The owner of Hollywood Show Club, Bob R, was racist and only allowed one or two black dancers per shift. Most dancers were in the 5-7 range. The best looking dancer was a slim, blonde, mixed girl with enhanced breasts named Barbie. I’d rate her a 9. She said she had been working at Scarlett’s for a month and did modeling and porno as well. If anyone knows her porn name, let me know!

Topless lap dances are $25 each. Nude lap dances are $40 or three for $100. Lap dances are full two-way contact at Scarlett’s. The VIP rooms are $150 for fifteen minutes, $275 for thirty minutes, and $500 for sixty minutes. Stage tipping is rewarded with a high level of contact: boob touching, stevies, pussy in the face.
