Managed expectations

Once you have come to grips with the reality of the DC club scene, you accept a few things. Pasties, I suppose, is among them.

I and my crew were close by and did the thing one often does when one ends up at a DC club. Someone says hey, should we go to a club? And you all shrug and semi-suddenly there you are. There are two areas: the restaurant area, where the patrons are seated along a galley of tables, and a smoking area, which is more like a bar. If you like chatting up the girls, that's your spot. If you like looking at once dancer on one very small stage, and you like the girls to pass by after their set, asking for tips, and you like pasties, then the restaurant area is your jam.

Drink prices were not horrible to my recollection.
