Lights out?

Stopped by after work on a Wednesday evening, which I've been doing at least once a month for a while now. At this point, I should be asking myself why bother Maybe its better on the weekends, or later at night, but in the 6:30pm time frame, its average at best. There were no more than 5 gals working when I was there last time, which seems to be the norm around that time of night. The place itself isn't bad, very clean, bartenders always friendly, drinks aren't crazy expensive. Easy parking right in front. No cover. Odds are if you grab a drink and sit at the bar, someone will come up to and strike up a conversation. The dancers were almost all Latino and African American. Most were a bit wide in the hips for my taste. And most seem to have regulars as well.

There is a VIP area as well as the lap dance area. Last time I was there, I i did grab a dance with someone who was above average in the looks dept, with a huge rack. But here's the thing. The lapdance area is not private by any stretch. There were about 8 chairs in the area, and the contact was decent, but the room itself was as bright as the sun. No jokes. Its was like last call at a normal bar when the place turns the lights on at the end of the night. I mean if you're going to drop $20 to have some chic grind away on you, could you at least dim the lights a little.
