As has been said before, this place has a great neighborhood bar feel, with a friendly bartender taking care of regulars and newcomers (like me).

12 dancer names were on a blackboard behind the bar - and 8 of them were in dancing area behind the bar where there was a tiny stage. The same girl stayed on stage almost the entire time I was there, with the other 7 either chatting up customers from inside the bar or gyrating in place to the music. For the most part, these dancers were just old — some in shape, most not. Many of the dancers (Brazilians) spoke little English so it was a challenge (and a bit fun) to try to figure things out.

Dollar parade was draining, but eventually was approached by probably the youngest dancer in the place (at maybe 30) - a pretty, curvy (slightly large) Brazilian. She came around from behind the bar and gave a convincing grind so I asked how dances work. $25 per song in a curtained area in the corner, and with her not speaking much English, we got creative trying to figure out the menu. Negotiated for Billy but seemed like everything was available.
