Slip Away Saturday
Came to Indy for the NFL Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium and decided to revisit some former hangouts from my past. It had been several years and the remodeling made this place seem very different to me. There were maybe a dozen patrons when I walked in after paying a $5 cover around 4 p.m. I tried to get a feel for the room and counted three large circular stages with comfortable chairs on rolling casters. A large and long bar seemed to be a comfortable spot to order and nurse a drink while talking up the dancers. The small screen TVs affixed on the walls did not invite one to come here to watch sports. Go elsewhere, if you want to catch a game or results.
I got a Bud Lite that was the featured brew for about $5.75. Quoted $5.25 and I tipped my waitress/bartender $1.25. Figured each brew would set me back $7. My Jack & Gingers cost $10. Private TOPLESS dances in cubicles located in the back were $20 per song. I was also offered neck/back massages from Amari after sampling a table side "dollar dance." I enjoyed conversations with this lovely Tribesman from the land of Lincoln, along with a Filipina named Asia.
There are signs posted telling you that there are CCTV cameras everywhere on the property and gthat you should be on your best behavior.
