I tend to hit clubs in the afternoons, when they aren't busy. This just fits my schedule better. It probably means that I don't see the best talent, but what's there I have largely to myself. Plus, there is usually no cover. That was true of my visit to Rick's. It was a pretty typical set up, with seating in front of a single stage and chairs for "lap" dances in the back. It felt very safe. The music, DJ, were all completely typical. This was several months ago, so I really don't remember what the beers cost. It wasn't out of line.

I was able to get a seat right at the edge of the stage. I watched two or three fairly generic dancers. Young, white, no silicon but also not much more than a B cup. (There was a well endowed blond waitress who I would have liked to see on stage.) A few girls would ask if I wanted a lap dance, but I held off until one dancer caught my eye. There was really nothing special about her appearance, but she actually disrobed in front of patrons, instead of stepping behind the curtain to do it. For me, that's the best part.

I went to the back with her and paid $40 plus a $10 tip. Then I learned that the "lap" dance would really be a box dance, with no contact. Worse still, she hardly faced me, so I barely even got a show. She was pleasant enough, but the value for money wasn't there. I left pretty shortly thereafter.
