Visited Cheetah Hallandale on Friday Feb 15, 2019 from about 7 to 9:15pm. I had been to the horse races at Gulfstream Park and drove over the Cheetah afterwards which is not very far but traffic horrible. There is a large parking lot with a few spaces near the entrance coned off. I got there just before 7 so just avoided the cover. It’s a rectangular building with the entrance about a quarter of the way from the left end on the long side. The rest rooms are immediately at the right of the entrance, with a troll, a black guy who was speaking French with somebody. To the left of the entrance are a few steps leading up to a room at the end of the building configured as a sports’ bar, with a bar, tables and chairs and a large number of large TV’s covering most os the walls this night showing the preliminaries of the NBA All-Star weekend. The main part of the club is to the right of the entrance. There are 2 rectangular bars with chairs on all sides near either end of the long dimension of the rooms. The main stage is along the long side away from the entrance with chairs at the rail. There were a number of tables and chairs on several step up levels opposite the stage. The lap dance room is in back of these, along the front long wall. Booths were scattered here and there and there were what looked like small VIP areas at the ends of the main stage. Smoking was allowed. There were a few TV’s in the main room as well as in the sports room. The managers wear suits.

They advertise food so I first wanted to have some dinner. First I sat at a table in the main room and asked a waitress to bring a menu. She seemed to not know what to do and ended up bringing the menu for the free afternoon lunch. This wasn’t right so I mentioned this to a manager and went and sat in the sports room where he eventually sent a waitress to me with the dinner menu. I ordered grilled salmon for $16 and glass of orange juice for $6. She asked cash or credit and wanted to be paid in advance for cash. It took a while for the food to arrive but was OK when it got there. All this time there was no one else in the sports room, just a few club employees who were taking a break or having their own dinner. So dinner meal service is not well organized.

So on to the main reason to be at a club. Stage dances were done on the main stage with 2 poles, and individual poles in the centers of the bars and one in the back near the lap dance room. Not many customers sitting at the stage, most just walked up to tip. Later on all 5 poles were in use. The music was way loud making it hard to converse. Hard to tell the transitions between songs. There were quite a few rotating lights and sometimes a lot of strobes in use. They still had decorations up for Valentine’s Day, which were kind of cheesy pink paper streamers and hearts. There were about 100 customers including a few females.
