Back to my stomping ground

I don't always choose Bogart's, but I always seem to come back. It's not a gentlemen's club so you don't have valet parking or coat check. Bogart's is a true working class dive bar that has women that you can take to private booths and have fun with. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere, so I've never had a safety issue, but it is not the kind of place to bring your wife or girlfriend.

Anyway, I was back in Michigan recently on a Tuesday and got a chance to stop in. I do miss the old open-style vip rooms they used to have where you could really have fun if you were a little exhibitionist. Back then, though, you would often be told by dancers that they had to cool things off for a few days because of LE pressure. In the last 8 years or so they added private booths, which can be nice because some of the dancers could be very shy back then.

Lapdances are usually $20 (although what you spend is ultimately up to you and the dancer), but they are officially half off on Tuesdays. There are usually about 10 girls in the club but this seems to double on if you go on the half off dance days. Some of the girls refuse to work on Tuesdays, but the club gets busy enough that plenty of others do. I paid the $5 cover and eventually paid $10 for the vip access wristband which you only have to pay for once no matter how many trips you make to the back.

Once inside the club, I got a seat at a table. The waitresses roam around and are extremely pushy for you to buy drinks. Some can really be quite rude. If one of them pisses me off, I just make sure to buy my drinks from a different one. I had a waitress this time that I made sure to tip well. She appreciated it and watched my coat and drink when I went to the vip.

The dancers here are down-to-earth and a variety of ages, sizes, and attractiveness. This time they were mostly white, but there are always a few black girls. I didn't see any asians. There are a few small stages, so girls are called up on stage frequently which is nice because you can tip a dollar to get their attention. Years ago, I had a dancer that I kept tipping and she kept promising to come see me, but she stayed sitting with a regular all afternoon. She didn't even go to the vip with him. It drove me nuts.That was the exception though. Generally, you just need to let them know you want to take them upstairs and they come over when they're off stage.
