I've had a few disappointing times...

I've had a few disappointing times here recently. Although the interior of this club is really superior relative to most other clubs in Memphis, I've found that the dancers are sub-par in the attitude and competence departments. The super-hot girls sometimes do end up here, as well as at either Pony's or Platinum Plus, but generally the women are one step below those two clubs. This place does have all the amenities, but the clientele seems to be mostly non-payers, whether on a weekend night or a weekday. And often, I've found that the girls who approach me REALLY don't know how to go about it. They are genuinely annoying, in that way that only a stripper can emulate. For example, they sit without asking, blow their smoke in your face, tell you to go tip the girl on stage, ask you why you're so angry, don't shut the fuck up to hear your answer, and then spill their cigarette ash on your thigh. Nice. For another example, the staff regularly cleared my half-empty coke glass whenever I got up to go stage tipping, which really pisses me off. On one occasion, I told the waitress to leave my table alone but they cleared it anyway. Given that there were only about six patrons and ten dancers in the whole club, at the time, they could have done better IF THEY'D CHOSEN. They wanted to squeeze me for more drinks. I think this club is suffering from a lack of big-spender customers, and is in a slide right now. The WRONG way to stop the slide, is to piss off the customers.

So, it's a place that COULD have a lot of positives, and I'm willing to return to see if I haven't just met it perhaps when the summer-relief manager was in charge. But the girls at this club don't make up for the low low standards of service. If they were super-hot and super-friendly, maybe. But looks-wise, the girls rate anything from a 5 on up, with a few 8s, no 9s or 10s. And the girls' attitudes, across the board, is shitty as hell. Like, "I hate being at a strip club." Yeah, THAT'S going to convince me to stay and spend money. Bad experience.
