Nothing special

I went to this place with a group of friends, we were all pretty drunk. From what I remember the place looked pretty nice. It wasn't too packed either. The girls were prettier than I expected. They weren't the friendliest bunch though, no one approached use for a good 20 minutes or so. I did eventually manage to get a lap dance, it was like 30$. The girl was cute, early twenties maybe, but she was so visibly uninterested that it completely killed the mood. I get that it's a strip club, she's not actually into me, but she just wasn't into what she was doing and looked like she would rather be somewhere else, it wasn't worth the money. I thought about going for the private room, but after that first lap dance I decided against it, the cost was too much for what could potentially be a lack luster grind and this place started feeling less and less like a place where the girls would be offering extras. I had a few more drinks and left earlier than the rest of my group, went back to our hotel and chatted up some thirty something in the lobby and ended up taking her back to my room. I got luckier back at the hotel than I did at the strip club. This club might have been having an off night or something and I might even try going back again. It seemed like there was more potential there if I was sober and a little more patient. It also might be an age thing, maybe older guys get more attention, the girl I got was pretty close to my age so maybe she just assumed I didn't have enough money to be worth the effort. Overall it wasn't the worst experience I've had, but it wasn't amazing either.
