Ruby is a reliable fun time

Playhouse may not be a "one of a kind" club, but there can't be too many like it. It looks like a hole in the wall from the outside, and it's not very spacious inside. It doesn't have the glitz of some clubs, but it's got a comfortable look and feel. Most of the club is a bar surrounding the stage, with some room behind the bar stools to get by.

I have always found that afternoons were better than evenings. It's usually not as crowded, the dancers are more accommodating, and the customers are low key.

Afternoons usually have somewhere from 6-10 dancers. Many of the dancers have been at the PH for a long time, so some of the best dancers aren't going to be that young. The dancers are on stage for about 2 songs, and then they come around the outside of the bar to get tips - they are looking for $1-$3. If the rotation is heavy, the tip money can be flying. Bring lots of 1s. When the dancers come around, they will also ask if you want to dance. There are sort of private rooms, with about a foot of the bottom of the door cut off. There are also cameras in the rooms, but it seems like the oversight varies. The girls seem to know what the oversight level is and how to give a dance that will shield certain things.
