New 39th Street Club Picking Up

I went back to the new Sapphire Club on 39th Street last week. The place had definitely picked up since I had been there last year. The Club is very well appointed and plush. There was a large bar on the right, stage in the center, DJ booth and good music. The ground floor is not as large as some of the other Clubs in Manhattan. But they have a 2nd floor which has a smaller bar and a lot of private rooms and booths of all sizes. I was told the cash price for a half hour private room was $480, but if you use a credit card, it is over $600 (for the room and the girl).

The quality of dancers was better too. Seems like they got some of the hot Flashdancer girls that were out of work when Flashdancer on Broadway closed up and merged with Private Eyes by the Theater District. There were also some young hot girls as Sapphire's hires at 18, unlike some clubs that hire at 21 and over.

It is a convenient Midtown location, off of Fifth Avenue. Would go back.
