Saturday Afternoon

I stopped by Palazio for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. I had about an hour to kill before I had somewhere to be so I wanted somewhere to get a couple of beers and to see some girls dance. $5 cover got me in. Club was clean and spacious. Not many people there. About 4 guys sitting at tables watching college basketball and drinking and what looked like a couple of regulars at the bar talking with some girls. There was a back room with another bar, but I didn't check that space out. I got a beer for $6 ($8 with tip). Good prices all around.

I hadn't been to a club during the day before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I've heard good things about Palazio before, and I've heard bad things about clubs during the day. On this day, the girls were better than I expected. After about 5 minutes I was joined by a dancer named Avery who was covered with tattoos and had lots of piercings. Not exactly my taste but she had a nice body and was very sweet. We talked for a while and when she asked if I wanted a dance I said yes. She led me to a corner of the main room and started to dance for me. It was nice. She was charismatic and engaging without being overly chatty. I had a couple more beers and got another dance from a dancer named Donna. Dances were $20 each and I tipped another $5 on top. All in all I spent just over $100 on a fun hour and half. I would definitely do this again.
