Not like old times

Been going to Ecstasy for years, I've been a regular in the past. It has always been my ATF for many reasons. However I have been away for a few years and finally had a chance to be in the area for a visit. Unfortunately, I picked the wrong day and time for a return.

I was thinking, Friday around 5, I've had a great time in the past going in at this time and enjoying the day shift as they have their last dances and then enjoying the fresh night shift before the midnight rush. Great way to spend the evening ... not this time.

My first clue should have been no cars in the PL side of the parking lot. Then the bouncer "warns" me " You do know it's change of shift, right?" Well yeah, that's why I'm here...

I go in, same club, same vibe, only one other PL sitting on the far right side while a gaggle of dancers sat in front of restrooms. No one on stage, no one getting ready to go on stage.
