In the Orlando area, there really aren't too many options for clubs. You have the clubs on Orange Blossom Trail, which in general is not the nicest part of Orlando, to say the least, and are of course no touch. Then there is Rachel's, which is set apart because of the fact it is also a steak house. One of my best friends and I were passing through Orlando on the way to the Keys for a bachelor party. I had been to Rachel's once before and I thought it would be a good pit-stop on our road trip and a great way to start a bachelor part weekend. We arrived around 7 pm and had no cover. I am not sure if it was waived because it was early or because we told them we were also having dinner. The club is split into two areas, the restaurant to the left and the bar with stages to the right. We decided to eat first and were escorted to the restaurant, which unfortunately does not have the greatest view of the stage. We had a male server, older gentlemen who was very friendly. There were also a number of scantily clad cocktail waitresses taking drink orders and running food. We both ordered filets, which we reasonably priced (less than I high end steakhouse but more than you would spend out Outback!). The had a few jacks and cokes, which had heavy pours and were reasonably priced (I think $12 for a double). The steaks were cooked to temp and we enjoyed dinner. The dancers left people in this section of the club alone. Afterwards, we moved to the bar and stage area and took up a spot at a small table by the stage. There were about 2-3 girls on stage, a few running drinks, and a few more talking to patrons. You could tell that there were some regulars at the booths around the stages with their favorite girls occupying the seats next to them. They looked like they were able to get a little more touchy feely with the girls, but otherwise touching was completely a no-no. In fact, a "reportedly" new girl, (asian, cute, about 5'2") say on my buddies lap when she heard we were on our way to a BP. She was promptly scolded by a manager/bartender. We paid her for a couple table dances and enjoyed her company a little more. In general, all the girls were good looking 6-8s (I grade hard too) and all variety of races and ethnicities. We ended up chatting some more, tipping the stage dancers, making small talk, and then went on our way. I will say that for the purposes we went (to eat and ramp up to a crazy weekend), it was perfect, and they actually really do have great food. This is not a millage club; so don't go in there expecting that. It's a classy place that you could take a coworker or a uncle and not feel sleazy. So keep this in mind if you are looking for anything more. In general, Orlando is not your place for that, and if that is what you are looking for, get in the car and drive a couple hours to Tampa. As long as you set your expectations right, you will likely enjoy Rachel's.
