Friendly Club - But Not Much Else

Bartender was nice. No cover, music was eclectic and controlled by the dancers. There was like a 10 minute period of silence. A couple dancers talked to me at the bar but weren't pushy. There is a pool table some some lotto machines. It's dark and doing good at not looking grimy, but it still feels it a bit. The drinks aren't overpriced and I remember to be cheaper than other clubs in the area. $3.50 tall boy cans, and $1 per song at the small stage.

The women working that night didn't have much going for them. Seemed like they were at the tail end of their dancing careers. One girl was a 6-7 and I sat at the corner stage for a bit. She didn't put any effort into a show and just sat and talked. Along the opposite wall of the stage there is like a bunch of small booths with very transparent curtains. Inside is a small couch like bench, and not much privacy. I wasn't interested in getting a dance from anyone that night.

Then a dancer at the bar got a call that they'd found her stolen car. She begged me for a ride. Her teeth were that of someone who smokes some gnarly shit. The bartender told her to stop. She said fuck off I'm quitting working at this shithole. Grabbed my arm and walked me outside. I gave her a ride down the block. I'm sure I went on an off night, but I ain't goin back.
