Pleasantly Surprised on a Friday Evening

After basically striking out at Deliliah's (see my other review of today), I drove down Columbus Boulevard to Risque. I've been here a few times before, and always considered it "just okay" - mediocre girls, nothing particularly special.

Tonight it was pretty quiet for 6pm on a Friday. Maybe eight customers, and about that many girls. I was pleasantly surprised by the girls, though. I'd rate them equivalent to the talent I had seen just a little bit earlier at Delilah's. Some of this is taste-dependent, however. I'd say the girls averaged 7, a couple 9s here and there.

The vibe here is really relaxed and low key. The girls do the tip parade after their dances, but it's not pushy or aggressive and I don't really mind rewarding their hard work on stage. Plus it's an opportunity to talk a little bit with the girls without a ton of time commitment. It was happy hour, so the beers were $4. After 7:00 they were $7, which is about on par for Philly clubs. The bartenders were cute and attentive.
