Could be a lot better
I visited L'Axe for the first time a few years ago and had a decent night-- I remember there were a few sexy girls and it was fairly busy. I enjoyed some good stage shows & more importantly a high contact private dance.
On thursday both of my regular haunts were busy and I didnt like the atmosphere so I decided to try out l'axe again. I wouldn't say my expectations were high last time I went, but I anticipated an ok night. I get there & the club looks pretty much the same; decent inside, good lighting and large stage, private booths are comfortable compared to some places in mtl. One big problem: it was dead. Vibe was very quiet and even a little bit uncomfortable because there were hardly any customers and the girls seemed pretty pushy. I decided to sit and watch a mediocre stage show. I ordered water but the bartender strongly pushed me to get a drink and implied there would be issues if I just drank water. I found that quite off putting. Drinks are decently priced though.
There were only a few of girls on shift, one of them considerably thicker than I like and the other one just not my type. There weren't many customers around so they were pretty aggressive and pushy when they asked for dances with me. The thick girl gave me attitude when I said "No thanks, maybe later", polite as anything. I ended up getting a dance from an older broad but nice tight body-- $10. She lead me back to the private booth area which was pretty empty at the time which was nice. The dances were ok but a little boring. She was decent but nothing exceptional. I found her a bit restrictive during the dances compared to some places in mtl where the girls are hotter and more lenient. Not worth the money really. I mostly felt bad for her because it was so dead.
