Summertime Blues - lots of dancers...

Summertime Blues - lots of dancers and not enough money to go around. Good for guys who get a great choice of the dancers; bad for the dancers who didn't budget for slow times. I wish there were fewer dancers who continually remind me about their finances - I think I'll take a month or so off from this place. As long as I'm complaining....there are some dancers who think they deserve a tip at the close of their shift regardless of whether we've seen them on stage. Most times they won't get it from me and I tell them why - I tip to reward the entertainment. Then there are the dancers who come on shift and collect tips before they've even been on stage. Or chicks who borrow money from customers before their stage appearance, for food or costume purchase, then tell the customer when paying him back that the loan should've been a gift. Yup, a month away from here would do me well.
