First time to Showcase; "Watch your step..!"

Ok - so, I happened to be in town with some extra time, so I decided to try out Showcase.

PaperMoon (in Springfield, VA) tends to be my main "go-to" club in the DMV area, not including Baltimore which isn't really local when I'm here for work. I've made a couple of trips to Ebony, so part of this review is comparing-and-contrasting with some of these other venues. [See my other reviews for those places for further details].

As others have stated, Showcase is in an industrial area not far from the College Park IKEA. With the exception of a sharp/blind/narrow turn in the road if you approach from Cook Road (where the Sign shop is) and some mud puddles/uneven ground right outside of the place, there were no significant safety issues to speak of. I arrived on a Wednesday at about midnight. And yes, I did step in a mud puddle within seconds of parking - splashing all over one of my shoes and the bottom of my pant cuffs. It was dark and pretty hard to see. SMH/FML. ;-)
